This section is all talk - from a blog on "Learning to Listen, Learning to Teach" to Quick Tips on various lines of business to tribute in honor of educators that have either paved the way or provided direction that still bears consideration. Since November of 2013 I have faced, either live or virtually, over 1200 students and conducted more than 78 sessions. The continuous switch in topics during throughout the year forces constant study to stay abreast of industry changes and trends. Further, the questions posed in class require additional research and add to this presenter's knowledge. In any case, the insurance industry has no static phases. Life-long learning must be a life-style, not a pursuit.
The best way to improve results is to listen to the end user, What were their experiences? Did knowledge transfer? Did they consider the time well-spent. Indications are that the training has been well received. The 2014 year-end facilitator score was 97.3%. Additionally, I've included a sampling of comments made in calendar year 2015. |
